History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Arnold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Bertram is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the east to a Banker, Balimaar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Banker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
