Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Apothecary who has hired him part-time. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and wants to work out more often

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He prefers to wear flannel. His hair is silver and curly. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Barrister. He's also a talented Servant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has worked as a Shipwright like his mother before him.
