History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in a small desert village. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ploughman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
