Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He struck the Server job and began his own company from there.
