History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Richard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has taken up work as a Miner and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: This late middle aged man wears rags and sports a simple walking cane and is in decent physical shape. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Trey is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Trey was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
