Shoemaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Miner. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Expand his business; and a rival would like him out of the picture
