Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nicholas is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a Barber, his father struggled to pay the bills. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Herbalist. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and further expansion of business

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
