Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Everard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He tends to wear a pastel poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Robert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Robert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many brigands want him driven away
