Description: An older man who is dressed in an above average manner, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second son.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a hand crossbow on his belt. His brown hair is long and unkept. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Frederick's homeland. Frederick decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Carpenter. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Jocelyn was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
