Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears tattered old clothes. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has green eyes and a green hat with a black feather.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chad. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: A middle-aged man, he dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with white slacks, and is pretty ugly. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and wants to raise his children well

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After months of barely getting by, John managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: An older man who wears professional attire, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is brown, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
