History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dean grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dean. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
