Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his quarterstaff with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is cut close to his head. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: He was born in a small plains village. John liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His skin is also unnaturally pale. He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

Motivation: He is content; and he's repulsed by the pc

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Miner.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
