History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his youth he was a Bather, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the south to a Sellsword, Patrick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
