History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Gerald began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cory. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Manfred was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Hubert was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carter. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe. He has white hair. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
