History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He worked as a nervous Courier and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Soapmaker profession.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trey hails from a village terrorized by giants. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Trey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent father
