Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He usually wears his blue robe and has his sai always slung over his shoulder. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. His eyes are a pleasant violet.
Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears just a tan suit. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and carries shortspears. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with his Jeweler father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He is greedy; and many gnolls want him driven away
