Personality: Cory is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the west to a Mayor, Cory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has achieved small success as a Mayor.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He's also a talented Locksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
