During his travels, Bertram and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bertram fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Theodoric has worked very hard to control his curse. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Kyle and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and he wants revenge against goblins
