History: Gifted from a young age, Miles studied abroad. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Chad was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and expand his business

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolf grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
