History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His childhood dream was to be a Masseuse, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Simon embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Jeweler and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Tim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and many drow want him driven away
