History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Peter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and further expansion of business

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Justin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born in a small island village. Theodoric liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
