History: Born in the south to a Marshal, Randal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
