History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up work as a Interpreter and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
