His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Dilettante who has hired him part-time. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thomas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Dean was born with his mother's beautiful face. When Dean reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
