History: Adam hails from a village terrorized by drow. Adam liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His childhood dream was to be a Fortune-teller, but he was a colossal failure. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and revenge

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: Guy wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
