History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Crown-heir who has hired him part-time. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He struck the Junk Dealer job and began his own company from there.
