Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gilbert was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants a kiss

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is violet, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy brown hair. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born in a small plains village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Trym took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Justin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and revenge

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
