History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Don is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Norman lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
