Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Layabout. His silver hair is singed and shortened. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nicholas studied abroad. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His red hair is singed and shortened. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A 6'6" eastern man, he sports grey clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered green stockings. He is portly but not overly obese. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He wears long strands of emerald and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Clerebold enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Clerebold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
