History: Norman lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sellsword and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Healer. He tends to his Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and expand his business
