Description: A 6'0" western man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Adelard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is a Bellfounder first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He tends to his Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: This man is very fat, and wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
