Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Anthony is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Anthony and his spouse have recently divorced.

Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: He wears a blue cloak and cross-gartered yellow stockings, and he perpetually has his mace ready. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family.
