Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Interpreter who has hired him part-time. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Actor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: A 5'10" western man, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His chestnut hair is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: To be a Masseuse again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: An older man who typically wears tan cloth garments or leather armor, he is not a threatening figure. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He's in love; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is well dressed, constantly wearing a yellow suit, white shirt, and black tie. His black hair is still thick. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and to share knowledge with the world
