When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He struck the Marshal job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hunter's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hunter grew up listening to his father's many stories. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and money/treasure

History: Arnold lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
