Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and doesn't want to be a doctor and was forced into it by his family

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
