A freak accident while working with his Soapmaker mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Assassin job and began his own company from there.
