History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Soapmaker father left him crippled. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
