He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. History: Charles was born with his mother's beautiful face. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
