Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Tanner like his father before him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Laborer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Miles is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Priest, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and expand his business
