He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a tan shirt, with a brown mid length shorts with brown tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has green eyes and a tan hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
