Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with red slacks. His hair is cut close to his head. His ears are large.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe, marred by sweets. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hubert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hubert. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and seeks redemption
