Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has wavy silver hair. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Manfred embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He prefers to wear flannel. His auburn hair is cut short. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He dresses well, wearing pastel shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are gray.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Manfred is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Painter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Human compassion.

Description: With yellow face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a yellow armored body suit, with a simple tan line shooting up and back down. His brown hair is long and unkept. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
