Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Anthony will drive conversation. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Anthony was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a pastel cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. During his travels, Chad and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Chad discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Chad fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His first spouse was a Scribe, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Human compassion.

Description: He stands about 5'2" and likes to wear green tank tops with brown pants. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His white hair is heavily combed to the left. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: He has a missing right arm. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. He has no hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adelard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
