History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Norman embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sailor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has a very tight haircut. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his broad black hat.

Personality: Lewis is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a Painter, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Description: This man wears a black armored body suit, with a simple brown line shooting up and back down. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on his right hand. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: Ralf is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He takes great joy in being the best Cook in town.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and to be a farmer again
