History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Alex was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heward was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
