He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Anthony was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
