Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born to a Painter, his father struggled to pay the bills. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Robert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Robert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shipwright. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shipwright for the past few years.

Motivation: Human compassion; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy blonde stubble. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a ceremonial dagger on his belt. He has a hunchback. His blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has gray eyes and a tan hat with a brown feather.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anthony embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: The child of a Farmer, who enjoyed hunting, Anthony was taken on many hunting expeditions. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This tall, slender man wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. Sporting a brown mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
