He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He bought a kukri and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Thomas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
