Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a red shirt with thin brown vertical stripes and black pants, marred by beers. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Description: He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is red and curly. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'6". He usually wears his tan robe and has his crossbow always slung over his shoulder, and his gloved hand is found clutching a crossbow. His hair is cut close to his head. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears his red hair down. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to protect his home

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
