History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Miles began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the south. Ernest was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ernest decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Cory will drive conversation. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
